Brief & Hire is for the person who has to delegate automation work, not build it. It covers the part the tutorials skip: deciding what is worth handing over, writing a brief someone can quote, choosing the right person and approach, and accepting a result that keeps working when nobody is watching. It starts with automation and AI work and adds other fields as each one is ready.
Why it exists
Most articles about automation are written by people selling the build. They are good at "what is possible" and quiet about "what happens on week three when the scheduled job stops and nobody notices". I run a small stack of scheduled jobs, bots and content pipelines myself. Some of it I built, some of it I delegated. The failures taught more than the successes, and this site is those lessons written down for the next person who is about to hire.
Who writes it
Written under the pen name Eden. I evaluate companies for a living and run a small stack of scheduled automations, bots, and pipelines on the side. This site is what I wish I had read before delegating any of it.
Nothing here is tied to an employer, and no client or company-specific information is used. Examples come from my own automations or from public sources linked at the end of each guide.
Two rules
- Experience before opinion. A guide is published when it contains something I actually did, measured, or got wrong. Tool names are examples; the judgement is the content.
- Every freelancer list shows its rule and its date. Seller shortlists on each job page state how sellers were selected and when ratings and prices were last checked. Fiverr is the source of truth; if the page and Fiverr disagree, Fiverr is right.
How the site is paid for
Through affiliate links to Fiverr, and by display advertising on guide pages only. Picks and brief templates carry no ads. The details are on the disclosure page. There are no paid placements.
