Brief & Hire

Hire help to fix or finish an AI-built app

A developer takes the app you built with an AI coding tool — or the idea you want built that way — and makes it hold up in production: bugs fixed, logins and payments secure, deployed on accounts you own.

Usual price on Fiverr

$100–$250 to start

Basic-package starting prices of the Fiverr Pro gigs below, checked 2026-09-26. A starting package usually covers a scoped fix or a review; making a whole MVP production-ready, or building one, is quoted per project and runs well above this.

Before you order

  1. Get the code somewhere the seller can read it: a GitHub repository you own, or an export from Lovable, Bolt or Replit. Never send your only copy.
  2. Write down the three things that break, with steps to reproduce each. "It's buggy" gets you a vague quote; three reproducible bugs get you a fixed one.
  3. List what touches money or personal data (logins, payments, user uploads). That is where a review matters most, and it should be named in the order.

What “production-ready” actually means here

AI coding tools are good at the first 80%: screens, flows, a working demo. The last 20% is where an app built with Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt or Replit tends to fail with real users, and it is the same short list every time: logins that can be bypassed, payments that double-charge or never confirm, data that one user can see from another’s account, and errors nobody is told about. A developer who fixes vibe-coded apps for a living will check those four before anything cosmetic. If a quote talks about redesigning the UI first, it is the wrong quote.

How to read the shortlist

Two kinds of seller are on this page. Fixers (Corpsoft, Teamseven, and the up-and-coming list) take an app that exists and make it hold up. Builders (Haseeb R, Ali, Zenkoders) start from an idea and use the same AI tools you would, only faster and with testing. Decide which you need before messaging anyone; the brief below works for both.

The single most important line in any order here is who owns the code and the accounts at the end. The acceptance checklist makes the general case; for an app, it means your repository, your hosting, your domain, and a README you have tried yourself.

Brief to send

Every field here is one a seller would otherwise ask about in a call. Fill them all; write "not applicable" rather than deleting one.

What it is
One paragraph: what the app does, who uses it, and which AI tool built it (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit...).
Code access
Link to the repository or export on my account. Which branch is live.
What breaks
The top three problems, each with steps to reproduce and what should happen instead.
Sensitive parts
Logins, payments, personal data, file uploads: list which exist, so they are reviewed first.
Where it runs
Hosting, database and domain — all on my accounts. Which ones exist already and which need setting up.
Scope
Fix only / fix and harden / rebuild parts. What is out of scope.
Hand-back
Every change pushed to my repository with a short note per fix, and a README on how to run and deploy it.
Acceptance
Final payment when the three problems no longer reproduce on the live site and the security items are listed as checked.
After delivery
Rate and response time for bugs found in the first 30 days.

How to accept the work

  • Each problem in the brief: follow your own reproduction steps on the live site. It no longer happens.
  • All code is in your repository, with commits you can read. Nothing only lives on the seller's machine or account.
  • Hosting, database, domain and API keys are on your accounts, and you know the monthly cost.
  • You can deploy one small change yourself by following the README.
  • You have a written list of what was checked for security, and what was not.

The general case — owning the accounts, alerts on failure, testing without watching — is in Acceptance checklist: does it run unattended?.

Questions people ask

Should I hire someone to fix my AI-built app, or rebuild it?

Ask for a paid review first (the cheapest gigs here offer one). A good developer will tell you whether the structure is worth keeping. Most early apps are fixable; rebuilding is right when the data model or login is wrong at the root.

Will they still use AI tools, or rewrite it by hand?

Most will use AI tools too — that is fine and usually cheaper. What you are paying for is judgement: knowing which generated code to trust, and testing what matters. Ask how they verify changes, not whether they use AI.

Can I keep editing it with Lovable, Bolt or Cursor afterwards?

Say so in the brief. Some fixes move code outside what a no-code AI builder can edit. If you want to keep working in the same tool, pick a seller who builds in it and make that a requirement.
